Parks and Recreation
| The Township parks, sport parks, recreation trails and public access points to water make up an extensive network of public facilities around the Township. In addition the Township is responsible for a number of cemeteries. Under the authority of the dock by-law the Township manages a network of public docks designed to serve the general public. Arenas in Bala and Port Carling and several community centres serve the community for recreation and emergency purposes on a year round basis.
