9th - Sweet Talk with the Cacao Boys - 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. - Chocolate lovers rejoice! Learn about (and taste) artisan chocolate with the Cacao Boys of Bala. Sample boxes will be available for purchase.
16th - OSPCA Crafting for Critters - 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. - A fun and interactive hour where participants can create animal-friendly toys for their own pets, as well as animals staying at the OSPCA shelters. Suitable for all ages.
23rd - Muskoka Indigenous Friends Cultural Centre Quill Earring Workshop - 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. - Participants will be taught how to make a simple earring using beads and porcupine quills. Teachings will be shared about porcupine harvesting and other ways that quills are used in Indigenous culture.
30th - Mindful Mending - 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. - Come to the Library and experience the collaboration of sewing and meditation. Your brain is connected to sensory experience from your hands and eyes. Heal. Journey. Witness the weaving of the needle and the union in the mind as you refurbish that cherished piece of clothing or textile material item that you just can't bear to toss yet!
