Huckleberry Rock Lookout Trail

1057 Milford Bay Rd, Bracebridge, ON

Huckleberry Rock has been well known locally for over 100 years as a magnificent scenic lookout. Rocks on this trail are some of the oldest in the world, well over a billion years old. The effects of glaciation, timber harvesting, erosion and fire have removed the thin mantle of soil, exposing the surface of the pink granite rock.

Hanna park outdoor rink

Hanna Park Outdoor Rink
Current Status - Closed (rink build is currently underway)
(periodically closes based on conditions)

Enjoy free outdoor skating at Hanna Park in Port Carling. This community rink is run entirely by volunteers, coordinated by the Port Carling Lions Club, and is open to the public throughout the winter, weather permitting.

The rink typically opens shortly after New Year’s, once conditions allow, and remains open as long as possible, often through to March Break. As part of Hanna Park’s winter amenities, the rink is lit until 10:00 p.m. for evening use.

A maintained walking trail, cared for by the Township, loops around the outside of the rink, making the park welcoming for both skaters and walkers.

A portable washroom is available on site.

The rink is volunteer-run, and helping hands are always appreciated! If snow falls while you’re skating, feel free to grab a shovel and help us clear. Interested in volunteering? Visit Port Carling Lions Club to learn more.
