Get Involved as an Organization
While this event is designed to give volunteers a well-deserved night off, we still want this to be an opportunity for organizations to engage with the community. There are three ways local organizations are welcome to participate and help make the evening that much more special, including:
1. Promotional Materials Table
Organizations may drop off printed materials at the Township Office (1 Bailey St, Port Carling) to be included in a designated promotional area at the event.
This is a great option for groups that would like to share information about their organization, services, programs, volunteer opportunities, or upcoming initiatives.
Examples of materials may include:
- Brochures
- Flyers
- Program information
- Volunteer recruitment materials
- Event information
- Business cards or contact cards
2. Activity Booth (Deadline to sign up: July 1)
Organizations may host an activity booth as part of the evening’s programming.
Activity booths should be welcoming, simple, and suitable for a community event with attendees of different ages. This is an opportunity to connect with residents, celebrate local volunteerism, and contribute to a fun evening for the community.
Examples of activity booth ideas may include:
- A simple game or hands-on activity
- A craft or interactive display
- A family-friendly challenge
- A demonstration
- A community engagement activity
Organization Participation Deadline
Organizations interested in participating through either the Promotional Materials Table or an Activity Booth are asked to contact the Township by:

This is a great way to help showcase the many people and organizations that support the community.
