About
For more than 25 years, the playground at Hanna Park has brought generations of families together to climb, explore, play and make memories.
After more than two decades of well-loved use, the existing playground has reached the end of its expected service life. Independent inspections and expert review found that replacement is the most practical and reliable long-term approach to address current safety, accessibility and ongoing maintenance needs.
Over the past year, the Township has worked with the community to plan what comes next, with a focus on carrying forward the character and play value people love about Hanna Park while creating a safe, accessible and welcoming playground for future generations.
With the final design now complete and construction approaching, we want to make time to come together as a community, celebrate this special place and get excited about the many new adventures ahead.
Learn more about the project, view the final design (coming Aug. 26) and follow construction updates on the Hanna Park Playground Rehabilitation project page on Engage Muskoka Lakes.
