Locations of particular concern due to the potential for heightened impacts include Moon River including the Bala Reach. Keep a close watch on weather conditions, exercise caution near fast moving rivers and streams and maintain close supervision of children and pets. 

Sandbags are available. Contact the Township Office at 705-765-3156 to request and arrange pickup. 

Residents and visitors are advised to avoid the area and use extreme caution around waterbodies as water levels and river flows may increase due to forecasted rainfall and melting snow.

This notice will be updated once water levels recede and Public Works crews can inspect the road. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to address this matter.

MUNICIPAL ELECTION DAY is Monday October 26, 2026.

Nominations are to be filed with the Clerk, or designate, and may be made by completing the prescribed Nomination Form and associated documents with acceptable identification and the nomination filing fee.

Nominations must be signed by the candidate and filed in person during regular business hours beginning on Monday May 1, 2026 through to 2:00pm on Friday August 21, 2026 (Nomination Day). Appointments are required to align with the availability of election staff.
