The updated By-law introduces a prohibition to nuisance noise at any time of day including changes to hours for construction, amplified music, barking dogs and other disruptive sounds. Residents, visitors and businesses are encouraged to review the new regulations.

The Township of Muskoka Lakes is inviting applications from community members interested in serving on various Township Committees and Boards for the 2026-2030 term of Council.

The Township of Muskoka Lakes has released the official results of the 2026 Municipal and School Board Election, as certified by the Township Clerk in accordance with the Municipal Elections Act, 1996. 

Congratulations to this year’s award recipients, and thank you to all members of the Muskoka Lakes Fire Department for their continued service and commitment to the community. Appreciation is also extended to the families and loved ones whose ongoing support is an important part of the service and dedication of our firefighters.
