Check, Add or Update Your Voter Information
Use the Township's Voter Lookup online tool to confirm that you are on the Voters’ List and make sure your information is up to date before voting begins on October 14 at 10:00 a.m. and concludes on October 26 at 8:00 p.m. EST.
With Voter Lookup, you can:
- Confirm that you are on the Voters’ List;
- Review your voter information;
- Update your information, if changes are needed; or
- Add yourself to the Voters’ List if you are eligible to vote in Muskoka Lakes but are not currently listed. Find the eligibility checklist below on this page.
Even if you have voted in Muskoka Lakes before, we encourage you to take a few minutes to check your information.
Please note: Changes or updates to your voter information must be completed online through Voter Lookup or in person at the Township Office (1 Bailey St., Port Carling). Changes cannot be made over the phone.

Election Help Centre (located at the Township Office)
Voting will be available by internet and telephone from Wednesday, October 14 at 10:00 a.m. until Monday, October 26 at 8:00 p.m.
During the voting period, voters can visit the Election Help Centre, located at the Township Office (1 Bailey St., Port Carling), to use dedicated voting computers or connect with Township staff in person or by phone during the regular and extended hours listed below.

Can I vote in Muskoka Lakes?
You are eligible if you:
- Are a Canadian citizen
- Are 18 years of age or older
- Live in the municipality, or you are a non-resident owner or tenant of land, or the spouse of a non-resident owner or tenant
- Are not otherwise prohibited from voting
You are not eligible if you:
- Are serving a sentence of imprisonment in a penal or correctional institution
- Are a corporation (corporations cannot vote)
- Are acting as an executor, trustee, or in another representative capacity
- Were convicted of a corrupt practice under Section 90(3) of the Municipal Elections Act and five years have not passed since that election
