Online registration is now closed, as of 7:00 p.m. For assistance, please call (705-765-3156) or visit the Election Help Centre (1 Bailey St., Port Carling).
Use the Township's Voter Lookup online tool to confirm that you are on the Voters’ List and make sure your information is up to date. Voting closes October 26 at 8:00 p.m. EST.
With Voter Lookup, you will be able to:
- Confirm that you are on the Voters’ List;
- Review your voter information;
- Update your information, if changes are needed; or
- Add yourself to the Voters’ List if you are eligible to vote in Muskoka Lakes but are not currently listed. Find the eligibility checklist below on this page.
Even if you have voted in Muskoka Lakes before, we encourage you to take a few minutes to check your information.
Please note: Changes or updates to your voter information must be completed online through Voter Lookup or in person at the Township Office (1 Bailey St., Port Carling). Changes cannot be made over the phone.
As of September 25, 2026, any new voters added to the Voters’ List from this point forward will have their voting PIN sent to them by email or can pick it up in-person.
Can I vote in Muskoka Lakes?
You are eligible if you:
- Are a Canadian citizen
- Are 18 years of age or older
- Live in the municipality, or you are a non-resident owner or tenant of land, or the spouse of a non-resident owner or tenant
- Are not otherwise prohibited from voting
You are not eligible if you:
- Are serving a sentence of imprisonment in a penal or correctional institution
- Are a corporation (corporations cannot vote)
- Are acting as an executor, trustee, or in another representative capacity
- Were convicted of a corrupt practice under Section 90(3) of the Municipal Elections Act and five years have not passed since that election
How To Vote
The voting period will take place from Wednesday, October 14 at 10:00 a.m. EST to Monday, October 26 at 8:00 p.m. EST via Internet and Telephone voting. In-person voting is available at the Township Office using our dedicated voting computers.
To vote, please refer to your Voter Information Letter for your unique pin number to vote online or by telephone. If you have not received your letter, please contact the Election Help Centre for assistance (details above).

Voting will be available by internet and telephone from Wednesday, October 14 at 10:00 a.m. until Monday, October 26 at 8:00 p.m.
During the voting period, voters can visit the Election Help Centre, located at the Township Office (1 Bailey St., Port Carling), to use dedicated voting computers or connect with Township staff in person or by phone during the regular and extended hours listed below.
