Attainable Housing Rebate Program

Builders at a building site

The Township encourages the development of attainable housing by providing a mechanism for the potential rebate of development charges, building permit fees, planning fees, and entranceway permit fees for Eligible Housing Units that meet the criteria and conditions as outlined in the policy.

Program Details

The Township may refund eligible fees, subject to funding, that are paid at the time a building permit was issued where it is determined that the proposed development meets the eligibility criteria.

Where an applicant has received financial assistance from the District Municipality of Muskoka for the affordable housing development, evidence of that assistance will be sufficient for approval of the applicable rebates from the Township.

Please view the Attainable Housing Rebate Program Policy for further information.
