If you are looking to serve food at your event (either sold or given away), you may need a special event permit. You can apply for a permit through the health unit. For information, guidelines and various application forms, visit the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit website or you can contact them directly at 1-877-721-7520.

If you are offering alcohol at your event, you may need a special event permit. You will need to apply through the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario. Visit their website for applications, instructions, guidelines and to determine whether you will need a permit for your event. For information, you can reach the AGCO directly by calling 1-800-522-2876.
