Road Closure Notice – Dark Bay Road (from Old Bala Road to Bond Drive)
Muskoka Lakes, ON – Please be advised that Dark Bay Road is now closed to all traffic due to a failing culvert. The closure is in effect immediately, from Old Bala Road to Bond Drive.
Property owners will continue to have local access from either side of the culvert.
The culvert is scheduled for full replacement as part of the Township’s 2025 Capital Program. Efforts are underway to advance the project ahead of the originally scheduled timeline, with construction to commence as soon as conditions permit and materials have been received.
Until the culvert is replaced, Dark Bay Road will remain closed at the culvert location. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to address this infrastructure issue.
