Township of Muskoka Lakes Launches E-Billing Through Property Tax Online Portal

Property owners who register for e-billing through the Property Tax Online Portal by June 1, 2026, will receive their tax bills by email starting with the final 2026 tax billing cycle.

MUSKOKA LAKES, ON, February 13, 2026 – The Township of Muskoka Lakes (“Township”) is pleased to announce that property owners can now sign up for e-billing through the Township’s Property Tax Online Portal. This secure and convenient service allows residents to receive and manage their property tax bills electronically.

Once registered, users can access their property tax information online at any time and receive tax bills by email from the Township’s official outbox email address: online@muskokalakes.ca. Please note that this email is for outbox purposes only, to contact the Property Tax department, see contact details below.

The Property Tax Online Portal allows users to:

• Link and register multiple property tax accounts
• Link and register multiple property owners
• View account balances and transaction history
• View tax bills and assessment information
• Receive tax bills automatically by email through e-billing
• Choose from multiple payment options, including credit and debit cards*

E-Billing

E-billing will begin with the final 2026 tax bill. Property owners who register for e-billing through the Property Tax Online Portal by June 1, 2026 will receive their tax bills by email starting with that billing cycle. 

Once enrolled in e-billing, paper tax bills will no longer be mailed. Tax bills will be sent by email and will include either a direct link to the bill or a downloadable PDF document. A downloadable PDF copy will also remain available at any time through the online property tax account, once billed.

The Township is committed to protecting residents’ privacy and safeguarding personal and financial information. The Property Tax Online Portal uses a secure platform designed to keep user information safe.

Property Tax Hub

The Township has also launched a new Property Tax Hub on its website. This online hub has been redesigned to consolidate property tax tools and resources into a single, user‑friendly location to better support property owners in Muskoka Lakes.
