Community Event Notice: Official Welcome for New Medical Practice at the Port Carling Community Health Hub

Join us on Friday, February 6 at 3:00 p.m. EST at the Port Carling Community Health Hub (147 Medora Street, Port Carling) to officially welcome Dr. Brenda Martin Medicine Professional Corporation to the Township of Muskoka Lakes.

MUSKOKA LAKES, ON, January 20, 2026 – The Township of Muskoka Lakes (“Township”) invites members of the community and media to celebrate the expansion of primary care services in Muskoka Lakes with an official welcome event celebrating the opening of Dr. Brenda Martin Medicine Professional Corporation (“Dr. Martin”), a new physician-led medical practice located at the Port Carling Community Health Hub.

Date: Friday, February 6, 2026
Time: 3:00 p.m. EST (doors open at 2:45 p.m.)
Location: Port Carling Community Health Hub (147 Medora Street, Port Carling, ON P0B 1J0)
Notes: The event will be held indoors and will include brief remarks from Dr. Brenda Martin and Mayor Peter Kelley, followed by a tour of the facility.

About the Practice

Dr. Brenda Martin Medicine Professional Corporation is a full-service primary care practice providing OHIP-covered services. Those with a valid Ontario health card are eligible to book appointments via telephone during the office hours provided below.

The establishment of this practice follows Township Council’s approval of a lease agreement for a new medical clinic, a significant step toward strengthening access to primary care services directly within Muskoka Lakes.

The Port Carling Community Health Hub serves as a convenient, central location for health care services in Muskoka Lakes. In addition to Dr. Martin’s practice, the building is home to Port Carling Dental and the Cottage Country Family Health Team.
