Construction Notice: Medora St. Sidewalk Repairs (May 25 – June 5)

MUSKOKA LAKES, ON, May 22, 2026 – Starting Monday, May 25, a section of the sidewalk on Medora St., below Pie Wood Pizza in Port Carling, will be closed for repairs to address premature deterioration. Construction is anticipated to be completed by June 5, weather permitting.

What to expect:

• Sidewalk closure (below Pie Wood Pizza)
• Daily westbound lane closures
• Minor traffic delays 

A reminder to drive with care and follow all posted signage. This work will not affect access to local businesses.

The work will be carried out by the contractor who completed the existing retaining wall construction and is part of the original retaining wall contract. 

The Township and contractor are working closely to minimize delays and impacts to traffic. Thank you for your patience while this work is completed.
