Significant Weather Event Ends Today at 4:00 p.m. (December 30, 2025)

MUSKOKA LAKES, ON, December 30, 2025 – The Township of Muskoka Lakes will lift the Significant Weather Event Declaration for all Township roads, as of Tuesday, December 30, at 4:00 p.m.

The Significant Weather Event for the Township of Muskoka Lakes was originally declared on December 28, 2025.

Public Works crews have made significant progress clearing and treating roads throughout the Township, helping to restore safer travel conditions and allowing for the declaration to be lifted. Regular winter maintenance and monitoring will continue on all Township roads.

The Township of Muskoka Lakes thanks residents for their patience and cooperation during the event. While conditions have improved, winter weather can change rapidly, and motorists are reminded to continue exercising caution when travelling.
