The Township of Muskoka Lakes Fire Department will be hosting the NFPA 1006 Surface Water Operations & Technician Course from August 22 to 24, 2025 at Windsor Park in Bala. This is a planned training exercise. There is no emergency and no risk to public safety. 

The Fire Danger Rating in the Township of Muskoka Lakes has increased from HIGH to EXTREME, effective today. NO fires of any type are permitted. NO fireworks are allowed. All current fire permits are suspended.
