Muskoka Lakes Fire to Conduct Water Rescue Training (July 4-5 & 10-12)
Emergency personnel will be present at Windsor Park in Bala on July 4-5 and 11-12 from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and July 10 from 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. This is a planned training exercise, not an emergency.
MUSKOKA LAKES, ON, July 3, 2026 – The Muskoka Lakes Fire Department will be conducting water rescue training at Windsor Park in Bala on July 4 to 5 and July 11 to 12, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and July 10 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Over the two weekends, residents and visitors can expect an increased presence of fire apparatuses and emergency personnel in and around this area.
The exercise supports an ongoing commitment to maintaining a high level of preparedness and ensuring the safety of both responders and the community, on and off the water. Members of the public are asked to stay clear of training areas and follow any posted signage or direction from on-site personnel.
This is a planned training exercise, not an emergency.
