Remembrance Day Ceremonies in Muskoka Lakes

MUSKOKA LAKES, ON, November 6, 2026 – The Township of Muskoka Lakes invites community members to come together this Remembrance Day to reflect, remember and honour those who have served, and those who continue to serve.

The following ceremonies will take place throughout Muskoka Lakes on Wednesday, November 11, 2026:

Bala – 10:30 a.m.

Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 424
1011 Maple Avenue, Bala
Light snacks and refreshments will be available following the ceremony.

Port Carling – 10:45 a.m.

Cenotaph adjacent to the Port Carling Community Centre
3 Bailey Street, Port Carling
A lunch will follow at Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 529, located across the street.

Walker's Point – 11:00 a.m.

Cenotaph adjacent to the Walker's Point Community Centre
1074 Walker's Point Road, Walker's Point
A reception will follow the ceremony.

Minett (November 8 at 2 p.m.)

An additional Annual Service of Remembrance will be held on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Peninsula Recreation Centre (1131 Juddhaven Road, Minett).
