Ontario Wildlife Damage Compensation Program

Registered farmers in the Township of Muskoka Lakes who have experienced livestock injury or loss due to wildlife may be eligible for financial assistance through the Ontario Wildlife Damage Compensation Program. The program provides compensation to producers whose livestock or poultry has been killed or injured as a result of wildlife predation, or whose bee colonies, beehives, or related equipment have been damaged by eligible wildlife.
