Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 7(6) of the Building Code Act, S.O. 1992, Chapter 23, as amended, of the intention to amend the Township of Muskoka Lakes Building By-law #2005-087.
Applications are now open for the 2026 Volunteer Firefighter Recruit Class. A drop-in information session will be held at Fire Station 6 in Port Carling on November 10, 2025, from 4:30 – 8:30 p.m. for those interested in learning more.
To discuss Zoning By-law Amendment Application (ZBA-22/23) and Official Plan Amendment Application (OPA-64) submitted to the Township of Muskoka Lakes by 2666940 Ontario Inc. and 2665556 Ontario Inc. to redevelop lands located within the Resort Village of Minett.
The Community Improvement Plan (CIP) private-sector incentive program is now open for applications until Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025.
This Working Group, acting within its terms of reference and budget, will plan and execute a Volunteer Appreciation Event.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old, a Canadian citizen, and an elector in the Township of Muskoka Lakes.

The Muskoka Lakes Fire Department will be conducting its Tanker Shuttle Accreditation on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, with a practice run to be conducted on Wednesday, Sept. 24 from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m.
Testing operations will be based out of Muskoka Lakes Sports Park (Bala) and a designated water dump site on the south end of Acton Island Road.
This is a planned exercise. There is no emergency and no risk to public safety.
