The Ministry of Natural Resources, Bracebridge-Minden-Parry Sound District, is advising residents that a Watershed Conditions Statement – Flood Outlook & Water Safety Bulletin is in effect until Friday, March 27, 2026.

Grants of up to $2,500 are available for eligible non-profit and community-based organizations for projects or initiatives that aim to benefit the community and support Township priorities. Applications close Monday, April 6, 2026.
Applications may be submitted online through Engage Muskoka Lakes or in person at the Township Office (1 Bailey St., Port Carling, ON).

Public Works crews have been servicing roads and are prepared for the forecasted weather. Staff and equipment are ready and crews will continue to monitor the situation as conditions progress.
Updates will be posted to muskokalakes.ca and on social media through Facebook, Instagram and X.
In effect until March 13, 2026. Residents and visitors are advised to use caution around waterbodies as water levels and river flows may increase due to forecast rainfall and melting snow. Lower-lying and flood-prone areas may experience localized impacts.
Training will be occurring daily from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the end of West St. in Port Carling, ON.
