| Come one come all to another community build! A generous family has donated a 905 piece LEGO Technic Bugatti Bolide set to the library and, once again, we are asking for your help! Beginning August 6th, stop by the Port Carling branch and spend a couple of minutes (or a couple of hours) helping us build our masterpiece! The final creation will be displayed for everyone to enjoy, once it's been completed. |
Our Friends of the Library will be running their annual Silent Auction again for the 13th time this summer.
This year, with the Friends support, the library plans to continue to offer a variety of educational programming for all ages, while continuing to find new ways to reach members of the community outside of the branches through a “Pick-Up Point” pilot project. In addition, expanding the collection through the acquisition of new tech resources, Wonderbooks, and a refurbishment of the Bala drop box are all initiatives that will be aided by this fundraising.
The Online Auction site will be live for bidding from July 11th - August 22nd.

A fun summer reading program for kids of all ages. Pick up a Reading Log from either branch, log your reads, and redeem for beads!

Every tenth read = one brag tag
