Effective Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 12:00 p.m., the Township will close the Municipal Office to the public until April 6, 2020. Township services will continue to be offered online through the Township website, email and over the phone where possible.

The Township of Muskoka Lakes Fire Department is reminding everyone that as of April 1st, Open Air Burn Restrictions are in effect and that daytime burning is not permitted unless you have obtained a Burn Permit.
The Township offers burn permits for residents wanting to burn during the daytime. The cost of the permit is $50 and is valid for one fire season.
The Township is accepting applications for burn permits, however, the application process has been adjusted and will be completed by appointment....

MUSKOKA LAKES – The Township of Muskoka Lakes is extending closures to outdoor recreational amenities effective immediately following the new emergency order made by the Province of Ontario on March 30, 2020, to close recreational and outdoor amenities.
