MUSKOKA LAKES, ON – The Township of Muskoka Lakes is currently reviewing the options for the Fire Station locations, through a Fire Station Location Study with consultants, Emergency Management Group. The results of this study are intended to serve as information to inform asset management planning, improve service delivery and provide data for a Level of Service Study.

MUSKOKA LAKES, ON – With Spring upon us, and Summer just around the corner, the By-Law Division is changing their hours to best serve the community.
By-Law Staff will be available Monday – Friday from 8:00 am – 6:00 pm, and Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. The community is reminded that the best way to submit a complaint is by filling out the Report a Concern form on the Township website. This can be done whenever a violation is believed to have occurred.

MUSKOKA LAKES, ON – Each summer, the Township of Muskoka Lakes offers swimming lessons during July and August at Jaspen Park in Bala and at Hanna Park in Port Carling. Registration for this upcoming summer is now open!
“We are excited to have the swimming program back in both Bala and Port Carling for another summer,” said Mayor Peter Kelley. “Learning how to swim is so important for kids in our community.”

MUSKOKA LAKES, ON – On Wednesday May 15, Council received the Final Report for the Arena Feasibility Study. The Final Report documents all background information, the analysis of the site and building conditions, overview of the community needs, and a range of alternatives, with cost estimates, for consideration moving forward.
