MUSKOKA LAKES – With the Victoria Day long weekend fast approaching and the Province of Ontario announcement about Reopening the Province, the Township would like to provide the following long weekend reminders:

Fire Rating

The fire rating is currently set to HIGH. No daytime burning is allowed. Fireworks are not permitted. Burn permits will not be sold. For emergencies, please call 9-1-1.

Media Release - Township Service Updates Upon Provincewide Emergency Brake

MUSKOKA LAKES – In response to the Covid-19 Provincewide Emergency Brake announced on Thursday, April 1, 2021 by the Province of Ontario, the Port Carling Arena and select Community Centres will be closing effective April 3, 2021 and will remain closed until further notice. Those impacted by cancellations and closures will be contacted directly. All refunds will be honoured.

Media Release - Township Service Updates for Covid-19 Red-Control Zone

MUSKOKA LAKES – In response to the Province’s decision to move the Simcoe-Muskoka District Health Unit back into the Red-Control Zone effective Monday, March 8, 2021, the Township is pleased to advise that the Port Carling Arena will be reopened for limited use effective Monday, March 8, 2021. Select Community Centres will be available for limited use beginning Wednesday, March 10, 2021.
